Apex World Travelers' Clinic
Over one million people travel daily for business or pleasure, a small distance or clear around the world in our globalized, modern, and mobile world. Even though vaccine-preventable diseases have been eradicated from North America, these diseases are still common in many countries. Without vaccines, epidemics of many of these preventable diseases will return, resulting in lower quality of life, higher morbidities and deaths often associated with worse health outcomes, more complex clinical management, and increased healthcare costs. All international travel creates special health needs.
Apex World Traveler’s Clinic is here to help you with those special needs. Vaccination before travel is imperative to ensure global public health and to help individuals stay healthy during and after their travels. We can assist you - from unique vaccinations to simple tips on how to protect your health and safety in a foreign country. Apex World Traveler’s Clinic is committed to ensuring maximum immunization coverage in all populations from children to the elderly and all international travelers. Our clinic provides both pre-travel and post-travel counseling and evaluations. We are in direct contact with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and world health surveillance sources who constantly monitor outbreaks and other health hazards.
